OB Visit: Week 15

We had our 1st, second trimester visit today. Everything went great. The baby's heartbeat was 160. Dr. Dyar told me, "you probably don't need me to tell you this, but the baby is sitting right on top of your bladder. " yea....I kinda figured that. My blood pressure was 100/60 (it was elevated because they had to do a finger prick to get blood). My iron was at 12.3, so that's good. They also took 3 vials of blood for the triple marker test which we get the results from in 10 days. I've gained 2 lbs since the last visit which Dr. Dyar was happy about. He told me to try not to gain more than 2 lbs by the next visit, and then from there on out, I'll gain about a pound a week. Everything came back rosy from all of those vials of blood from my last visit, so that's good. The fundus is right below my belly button and everything looks just dandy. We go back to find out if we have an Evan Maddox Partin or a Jamie Marie Partin on the 29th and then on the 30th, we take the family to see at the 3D place!!!
