Chattanooga or Bust!

Jamie was sick for all of Fall Break with what we THOUGHT was a stomach virus but then found out at the ER at the end of break was actually Strep Throat.  Awesome.  Oh well.  As such, we only took a day trip to Chattanooga,TN on one of the days where she felt good.

First we went to the Aquarium.  Our kids LOVE aquariums.  Like, LOVE them.  They will happily go to the exotic fish store and look at all the fish for sell.  It's like a very small, very free, aquarium without having to buy $19 chicken tenders and $10 parking.

Anyways, THE AQUARIUM!  It was great. It really is a nice aquarium.  Once we were all on the same floor (they took the escalator, Cason & mom took the elevator - to the wrong floor at first) The fun began!

And for the requisite souvenir gifts, Evan bought a very life like snake *shudder*

And Jamie bought some very girlie slap bracelets.

Cage 'em up!

Evan was in awe, Jamie just wanted to take pictures with her phone.

After the Aquarium, we went to the Science Museum.  ALL of the kids loved it!  Cason REALLY liked the water table. He could have stayed there all day.

We BEE Family.... Cason Bee not interested in falling out of an over sized bee hive.

Max

Holy Moly.  I don't remember much about my collie, but I do not remember him growing SO FAST!!!  I'm sure that he did, but I guess since Max is an indoor dog and I'm at an age where I actually pay attention to things, it is just very noticeable. The dog is HUGE... and he isn't done growing.

I mean, he went from this....

to this....

to this monster in 3 months.

He is Cason's guard dog still.... he always sits under Cason's stroller when I park the stroller somewhere.

He is the laziest eater I've ever seen.

And he is super nosy.  If our neighbors go on their porch, he barks like a murder is happening and Cason toddles over to see what the commotion is all about.

But he is just a big baby and we love him.... but boy will I be happy when he stops teething!!!

Evan's First Day of 3 Year Old Pre-School

Evan is a School Boy!   Evan started school this year and he REALLY loves it.

Jamie was so happy for Evan!  She told Evan how easy he has it because in First grade, you do a TON of math. ha!

And a successful first day means you fall asleep within 2 minutes of getting in the car.

Now that we are in the swing of things, we've had guest car-riders:

And Evan started Playball, which he REALLY enjoys!

He has been student of the week and brought the class "fish" home over the fall break, so we had LOTS of time with Fins.
