Nice Weather = Much to Do!

So since it is nice out, the kids are outside every evening.  Daryl decided to break out the camera and take some pics.
Racing each other.

Posing like a model.  She refused to smile in the others because "models don't smile"

 Ninja

This guy is one happy camper.

This would be our son, yelling at a tree.....

They love to do laps around the cul-de-sac.  They eventually go all monster truck and ram into each other.  Those things must be made well.  sheeze!

ZOO TRIP

We also took the kids to the zoo over Spring Break.  They enjoyed seeing all of the animals.  Cason was a great baby and we were able to stay for a few hours.  I unfortunately short stocked snacks and Evan started losing it near lunch time. Lesson learned - BRING MORE FOOD!!!

I think Daryl has an ape-crush on this big guy.  There are more pictures of this Ape than of our kids. HA!

Happy Easter!

As you probably already know, we take turns hosting Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving & Christmas with our families.  This year, we hosted Easter.  I always enjoy hosting Easter.  As par for the course, we had an Easter Egg hunt, a yummy lunch and this year the added pleasure of the eldest nephew's 14th birthday.  And of course, lots of family pictures, with some of the best group shots below.

Yes, I added Daryl... Yes I used Microsoft Paint, which is why it is so sorry... no I don't have Photoshop on my laptop.  If I did, this would look better!

Busy Busy Busy

So yea, been busy.... three kids & new job responsibilities will do that to you.

Alright, time to catch up!

So we left off at the snow.... there was a lot of it... and what do you do when there is snow every where?

Arts & Crafts....

Reading...

Hang out on the floor with legos...

Get beaten REPEATEDLY at 'Sorry!' by your 6 year old...

And then you go back in it and build a snow man.

So that was January in a nut shell:  Snow.

Other life events:  Evan had his first Dentist appointment.  He wasn't as gung-ho as Jamie was with her first time.   He was actually kind of scared, but luckily Jamie had her check-up at the same time and they had chairs next to each other so he was ok.  As long as he has sister, he is good to go.

Daryl took the elder two & his mom to the circus.  They had a BLAST!!!  Jamie was extremely excited, if you can't tell.

Evan is losing that baby look and now has the whole kid thing going for him.

And he can fly a kite like it is nobody's business.

We also swapped around rooms some and now Cason has a room!  I guess we will keep him.  ;-)

Cason has Jamie's old room.  We just painted the pink green.  Voila! Jungle room.

He even sleps in a crib!  Last night was his first night and he did great.  I was a wreck and it was like the first night he was born - constantly checking to be sure he was breathing.

The office has become Jamie's room.  Yes, that is a pink and purple wall.  What baby wants, baby gets.  Her's is still in progress.... she wants a vet themed room.  Once the pain has had 4 weeks to cure, we can put up the animal stickers.

Since poor Evan was stuck with the same old room, his walls were given an upgrade, which he LOVES.

We are growing the newest members of the family.

And Cason is growing like a weed.  CUTE!!!

He is trying to crawl.  He wants too SOOOOO bad!!!

We've been taking the kids hiking almost every weekend that it is nice.  He we are at our snack stop.

We took the boys to the Tellus Museum when Jamie was at a grandma's house.  This would be my son, smelling petrified dinosaur poop... *shakes head*

Sweet boy turned 8 months today!!!!
