So the end of the world didn't happen today, so I guess I will keep updating the blog.
So here are some pictures from last Christmas.

And Baby Makes....5, right? I've lost count....
We are having a third kiddo! Woo Hoo!!!! Jamie is so excited about her baby sister.... oh Lord. She REALLY wants a sister, but said she "would love it if it is a boy.... but it's gonna be a sister." haha.
Jamie asked me if I would help her take care of the new baby because then "I will have two babies to look after and babies are a lot of work." Really, kid? I didn't realize you were taking care of your brother. ;-)
I found out after I ran the Gobble Jog 10k on Thanksgiving Day that I was pregnant, so I feel a little bit better about not PRing the course. ;-) But what a nice Turkey Day surprise - of course it wasn't until that night so I didn't have an "excuse" to eat a lot, so I didn't. bummer.
We heard the baby's heartbeat this week and it was 132. It is weird not having any type of gender preference this time around, beyond hoping it is a girl for Jamie's sake (and a boy for Evan's!!! ha). But the hardest part is coming up with a name! We have decided not to even talk about it until we know if they are a boy or girl. We knew Jamie & Evan's names when we were dating, so now we have to be imaginative. great.

Birthday Shenanigans
Jamie has a pirate party.... again. :-)
Then we went to Disney World for Evan's 1st birthday.... we were hoping to have his first haircut there like we did for Jamie, but poor guy was pretty bald at that point, so no luck.
Then we had a little family get together after we returned home from Disney for Cake! Yummm....
And this November we had Jamie's Princess Party.... I got to pull out my Junior year prom dress. Awesome.
Run, Momma, Run
So before and after each kid, I've been running, but after Evan, I really took it up a notch and ran a few half marathons and my first full marathon!
My first race was in March after having Evan in January. It was a 5k fundraiser for my sorority. It felt great so I kept going for it!
Then I upgraded to a few 10ks. The Big Peach Sizzler & the Peachtree Roadrace.
Then I did a few Half Marathons (Did one in 1:57, I was totally stoked!)
And finally I ran my first Marathon (Which was Daryl's 4th)
Here is a picture of Daryl running one of his Disney marathons that I thought was cute. :-)

Adventures in Neuroscience
So Evan has brought some adventure with his birth.... Not only is he pure boy and an adrenaline junky, he is also "independent". This two factors came together in a horrible combination when he ripped his hand from Daryl's as he was trying to climb the front porch stairs and then attempted to jump off at the same time. Here is the consequence of his actions....
Complete and total face-plant into concrete. It was the worst moment of my life (up to that point). Then we get him to the hospital and they say the fall caused no problems BUT.... can I just tell you how much I hate "BUT".... BUT his brain ventricles are enlarged and probably have been since birth. Background - his head circumference has been off the charts his whole life but no one thought much of it.
I will save you the drama of all the doc visits and ifs and maybes and tell you that Thank the Lord he is OK. He DOES have VERY MILD chronic hydrocephalus - meaning it is slow going, not like the immediate and life altering kind that you hear of most often. His brain does drain, just not as efficiently as it should. The faucet is on trickle instead of pour. This kind just has to be watched and it can correct itself. For now, he gets a CT scan once a year. He may need a shunt one day, but hopefully he will just grow out of it or just have a slow drain and just have a big knoggin.
And as you can see, there was no permanent cosmetic damage beyond a little lump on his forehead that is hardly noticeable and his irrational love for Elmo. So I'm glad the fall happened so we could find out about his ventricles. It all worked out in the end.

So Call Me Lazy
Wow.... so a lot has happened since my last post. Namely, Evan was born and he is about to turn two and we just found out we are pregnant with #3, so yes, I am officially a slacker. There is no point trying to do one big massive update so I'm just going to try to update you slowly over the next few weeks. But this one might as well pick up where we left off - EVAN'S BIRTH!!!! So here we go!
Ok, WOW.... I was the size of a house.... Speaking of which, we stayed at the Stanley House B&B the night before Evan's scheduled induction because there was a brutal ice storm and the B&B was the closest place we could stay to the hospital. Glad we did this because we pretty much slipped and skidded into the hospital.
If you can't tell from this picture, the delivery was ROUGH! I had the joy having the placenta detach before Evan came out so that made for some drama but I was about to get the little linebacker out. I seriously thought my hip was going to break. This kid is huge.
Like, 8lb 9.6 oz huge You can see how bad of a cone head he had from getting him out.
But look how pretty he turned out!!!! Oh how I miss that little itty bitty phase!!!
And the best was when Jamie met her new baby brother. SOOOO sweet. Poor thing had a little bit of a cold but they still let her come. I'm glad because I missed her terribly.
So that's how he got out. Safe and sound and adorable, and now he is about to turn two.
Time sure does fly!!!!

Week 36 - Week 38
Week 36
Week 37 - I started swelling this week.... I went from only gaining 22 lbs to gaining 28 in one week! My ankles are not happy right now. :-(
Week 38 - and ready to pop!
We had a wonderful Christmas. All the grandparents spent the night at our house and then we went up the street Christmas Day to Daryl's Bro's house (glad I didn't have to travel much). But how about that snow! It was SOOO neat having it snow n Christmas. Jamie loved building a snowman. We spent New Year's Eve at home and are now patiently awaiting the arrival of Mr. Evan!!!

Weeks 34 & 35 and some Christmas
So, Jamie is still NOT down with Santa, but at least she didn't cry!
She IS cool with Christmas trees! She loves all of the decorations.
And in Belly News, here I am at 34.5 Weeks
And 35 weeks and 1 day.
Oddly enough, I have a fever blister this week.... I got one with Jamie right before she was born... wonder if it is a sign?

Week 20 - HALF WAY POINT!

Week 19
So my pictures are off now, I keep procrastinating so I'm 19.5 weeks. Oh well, you get the idea. :-)
I can see Evan kicking from the outside now which I always enjoyed with Jamie. It is so wild! He stretches a lot which is not very comfy but hey, I'm not the one stuck in a bag, so more power to him if he feels like stretching a bit.
Jamie is being SO sweet about Evan: giving my belly kisses, talking to him, and wanting to read her Big Sister books at bed time and talk about all the things she will do to help him when he is here.
So because I'll probably be induced a week early since Jamie was so hard to get out, we are past the half way point - YAY!!! We are looking forward to meeting our little boy.
