We took the 3 kids & the dog camping to close out October. They loved it! Well, Evan decided at 10:30 the first night that he wanted to go sleep on the couch... um, no couch here, kid. Daryl was finally able to "rock" him to sleep sitting in the tent. The next morning, Evan said "Just kidding, I like camping!" Yea... SO not how you tell a joke, kid. But it didn't matter. It was sub-Arctic Friday night and Daryl and me are old and couldn't take it another night so we only camped one night, but we still got in lots of out-doorsy fun!
David, Deeshia & Chase went with us (always good to have other baby-helpers around!) :-)
There was a horse stable there, so Daryl took Jamie and Evan for rides. Jamie rode by herself!!! She loves her some horseys!
The kids also went fishing. Another activity my kids are really into. Unfortunately, no fish were biting. :-(
Max. He almost ripped my arm out of socket with all the new smells. Once he had officially smelled the entire 10 mile radius, he was a good dog.
Deeshia on don't-let-the-baby-near-the-pond duty.
The guys (and one Jamie) at the pond
The view at the stables was beautiful!
Evan was a running fool. He ran around the horse field TWICE. Deeshia and I went with him the 2nd time. The kid is a ninja when it comes to avoiding horse poop.... because there was a lot... I mean a LOT right where we were in the picture.
Our campsite at Trackrock. We always take a picture with our room/site number. It's our thing. :-)
